And they blasphemously spoke many other things against him.

Mark 14:65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say to him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands.

And when they had platted a crown of thorns, they put it on his head, and put a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

And they spit on him, and took the reed and struck him on the head.

John 19:1 Then Pilate took Jesus, and scourged him.

Then Herod questioned Jesus with many words; but Jesus answered him nothing.

Matthew 27:13-14

And Jesus never answered him a word; insomuch that the governor marveled greatly.

John 19:4-6

4] Pilate went forth again, and said to the Jews, I bring him forth to you, that you may know that I find no fault in him.

5] Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate said to them, Behold the man!

6] When the chief priests and officers saw him, they cried out, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate said to them, You take him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

Matthew 27:24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail, but that an uproar was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the crowd, and said, I am innocent of the blood of this just person…

Luke 23:39-41

39] And one of the criminals, who were crucified with Jesus, railed on him, saying, If you be Christ, save yourself and us.

40] But the other rebuked him, saying, Do you not fear God, seeing you are in the same condemnation?

41] And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man has done nothing amiss.

Buried with the Rich

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done

no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

57] When the evening was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also

himself was Jesus’ disciple:

59] And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

60] And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great

stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed.

No Bone Broken

It shall be eaten in one house (speaking of the Passover lamb); you shall not carry any of the flesh out of the

house; neither shall you break a bone of it.

Psalm 34:20

He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.

NewTestament Fulfillment

the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) requested of Pilate that their

legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

32] Then came the soldiers, and broke the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

33] But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they did not break his legs:

35] And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knows that he said true, that you might believe.

36] For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be

broken.
